Check a carrier notice | THS

Registration & paperwork | THS is a private business

A carrier notice sounds official. Check the claim before you act.

A call or email knows your USDOT number and says paperwork or payment is due. That detail alone does not prove who sent it. Ask THS where to verify the claim and what comes next.

Avery is THS’s Carrier Advisor team. Share one specific paperwork question. A THS representative will be named when your inquiry is assigned.

A receptionist or AI attendant answers 800-884-8520 and routes your question for review. Do not send passwords, verification codes, SSNs or banking details through this first inquiry.

THS is an independent transportation consulting and administrative-services company, not FMCSA. See FMCSA’s fraud alerts ↗

Why this question matters

FMCSA has documented false registration messages.

Its alerts describe impersonating emails, counterfeit links and requests for sensitive records. That history does not establish whether your particular notice is genuine. Some FMCSA new-entrant contact is legitimate; verify a caller or deadline through an independently opened official channel.

What an answer looks like

A useful answer separates facts from claims.

Demonstration only — September 26, 2026. No real carrier record was reviewed.

Question: “The caller says my BOC-3 is late.”

Verified general rule
FMCSA publishes BOC-3 filing guidance.
Carrier statement
A caller claims a filing is overdue.
Unknown
Caller identity, this carrier’s actual filing status, applicable authority and deadline.
Next action
Check the company’s status using official FMCSA resources opened independently. Contact FMCSA directly if the notice remains unclear. THS can separately scope administrative work if requested.

The human handoff

Who is Avery?

Avery is the name of THS’s Carrier Advisor team—the first place to bring a confusing notice, filing question, or request that sounds official. The team helps identify what the sender is asking, where you can verify the claim independently, and which next step belongs to you, an agency, or a private service provider. Avery matters because you should have a clear answer and know who is responsible for your question before you share sensitive records, pay a provider, or authorize further work. A THS inquiry does not make THS your Motus service provider or start a paid engagement.

Clear responsibilities

Your account and decisions stay yours.

Carrier

Controls its identity, account access, provider designation, review and required final submissions.

FMCSA or state

Publishes official requirements and records, receives filings and determines official status.

THS under a scope

Explains administrative next steps and provides only the separately agreed support it is authorized and able to deliver.

Sending THS a question, requesting free help or signing a THS agreement does not designate THS in Motus or authorize unrelated filings or dispatch.

Free first step

Start with one paperwork question.

Your first written inquiry is free. Ask about one notice, an official verification route, or the steps for initial Motus account setup. THS will confirm the availability and scope of any orientation when we respond. The carrier controls its official account identity, provider designation, review and final submission. A full records review, filing, and continuing work require a separate written scope. No THS inquiry creates a government account, files a form, activates authority or enrolls THS as your provider.

For a broader review, a specific correction or continuing administration, THS will explain the proposed scope, responsibilities and fee in writing before paid work begins. Government and third-party charges are separate.

After the first answer

Know what is real. Then decide who should do the work.

The first answer should clarify what is known and what still needs checking. A paid engagement begins only when the next task, responsibility and fee make sense to you.

  1. 01

    Get a dated next-step answer

We separate the official source, what you told us, and what still needs checking. An unresolved agency decision goes to FMCSA through its published channel.

  2. 02

Choose whether THS should do more

A defined registration or compliance correction receives a written scope and separate quote. A startup or dispatch economics question may fit the relevant $195, 60-minute review. Request the review; checkout is not active here.

  3. 03

Build an ongoing relationship if useful

If your carrier needs continuing administrative or business-development support, review the applicable Admin & BD Agreement, responsibilities and price. You do not have to buy a $195 review first.

Government and third-party charges are identified separately. A THS question, agreement or payment does not designate THS in Motus or authorize unrelated work.

Common questions

Before you respond to the sender

Is every private invoice or sales call a scam?

No. Identify the seller, the service offered and any real agency requirement separately. A private offer is not an FMCSA notice.

Will FMCSA ever call a new carrier?

FMCSA says it does not use immediate registration sales calls or robocalls. Its New Entrant Contact Center may call to confirm registration information. Verify unexpected contact through FMCSA’s published contact channel.

Should I send THS my Login.gov credentials?

No. Keep your password and verification codes private. The carrier controls its own Motus identity and any provider designation.

Just ask. Learn more. Get help.

Tell us what they asked you to do.

Use basic company and contact information for the first question. If a message involves an urgent official deadline, contact FMCSA directly through its published channel while you seek private help.

THS is a private company. An inquiry is not an appointment, filing, TSP designation or paid engagement.

Ask Avery at THS

What did the sender ask you to do?

Share one claim and a safe way to respond. A receptionist or AI attendant can take a phone question at 800-884-8520; the form below creates a separate written inquiry. Do not include passwords, PINs, SSNs, payment details, or attachments. If an official deadline is urgent, contact FMCSA directly through its published channel.

A phone or written question requests follow-up; it does not book a meeting, authorize TSP work, or activate an authority. Marketing permission on the form is optional and separate.
