THS Motor Carrier Setup & Business Development

You need the work handled—not another list of things to do.

Started your trucking or hotshot business and still have paperwork, registrations and operating setup to finish? THS handles the work defined in your agreement, coordinates the people involved and shows you what is complete and what still needs your action.

$6,500 · Defined setup engagement

The work, initial filings and fees listed in your written agreement. Insurance, plates or apportioned registration, equipment and ongoing vendor costs are separate unless expressly included.

Your first conversation identifies the starting point and next steps. We may need to review your records before establishing the full scope. THS is a private transportation consulting, business-development and administrative-services company. THS is not a motor carrier or government agency.

When the pieces are there, but the business is unfinished

You may already have a company, an EIN, a truck or a DOT number—and still have unanswered questions, unfinished applications, insurance coordination, driver records and daily systems to put in place.

The work runs across offices and providers. THS brings the agreed tasks into one engagement, with a record of what is being handled and which decisions remain yours.

Start from where you are today

Starting your carrier business

Build the agreed business foundation, registrations, records and systems around your planned operation.

Already started, but stuck

Review what is complete, identify unfinished work and define the correction needed. A narrow correction receives its own quote. Substantial recovery or audit work requires a separate scope.

What THS handles in the written scope

Business foundation

Organize agreed business records, formation or correction work and EIN assistance where needed.

Carrier paperwork

Prepare and coordinate agreed registration work, receipts and status checks. The carrier, process-agent provider and insurer file or certify matters assigned to them; required carrier certifications remain yours.

Driver and equipment records

Organize the agreed records and identify inspection, qualification and equipment items still requiring action.

Insurance coordination

Coordinate requested underwriting information and communicate with your selected agent. You choose and pay for the policy; the insurer makes coverage and underwriting decisions.

Business systems and handoff

Configure the included functions, explain their use and document recurring responsibilities and remaining actions. Dispatch follows its applicable terms only when elected and the operation is ready.

Your engagement price

$6,500

THS Motor Carrier Setup & Business Development includes hands-on implementation and the initial filings and fees specifically listed in your client agreement.

Insurance, plates or apportioned registration, equipment and disclosed ongoing vendor charges are separate unless expressly included. The base engagement is for one entity, one truck, one trailer and one driver; exact quantities, responsibilities, deliverables and payment terms are confirmed in the written proposal and agreement before work begins.

Existing client agreements continue to control their own scope and terms. There are no guarantees of agency approval, loads or revenue.

How the work moves forward

  1. Identify your starting point. Discuss what you have completed, what remains and the records needed to establish scope.
  2. Confirm the written scope. Review work, quantities, responsibilities, price, separate costs and dependencies.
  3. Meet the start conditions. Complete the agreement, required cleared payment, information and permissions. These are separate steps; a call or inquiry does not activate service.
  4. Complete and review the authorized work. Track completed work, pending items, evidence and actions still assigned to you or a provider.

Common questions

I already have a company or DOT number. Can THS help?

Yes. Start with what has been done and the evidence available. We define the unfinished work rather than assume you need the entire setup again.

What does the price include?

The agreed hands-on implementation and initial filings and fees named in your agreement. Insurance, plates or apportioned registration, equipment and disclosed ongoing vendor charges remain separate unless expressly included.

Does this include dispatch?

Dispatch has its own applicable service terms and operating-readiness requirements. Loads and revenue are not guaranteed.

How soon can I operate?

Timing depends on agency decisions, insurance, equipment and complete records. An application or THS engagement is not permission to operate.

What do I need to do?

Provide accurate records, make decisions and complete identity checks and required certifications. Use the agreed secure channel when documents are needed. Do not send passwords, verification codes, sensitive IDs or payment details through this public inquiry.

What happens after setup?

Your agreement defines completion and follow-through. Dispatch, ongoing accounting and later expansion have their own scope and terms.

Can I do this myself?

Yes. Official self-service routes remain available. THS is a private service provider; you decide whether you want the agreed assistance.

Talk through what remains

Tell us where your operation stands and what you need finished. The complimentary call identifies the starting point; records review and implementation follow their agreed scope.

Avery Carrier Advisor is a THS team identity. Your service request lets THS confirm who will handle the next step. Phone or Zoom preference is confirmed by your representative; camera use is optional.

Before you buy the truck · page 9

A truck payment is easy to find. A complete cost of entering the business takes more work. Before you choose equipment, describe the freight you intend to carry, the places you intend to operate and the people who might actually buy that service. The equipment should follow that description. Buying first can leave you trying to make a freight plan fit a truck that was available at a good price.

Find out what the whole trip leaves · page 15

A load pays for a movement. Your business pays for everything required to perform it. The quoted loaded rate leaves out the empty trip to pickup, the time at the dock, the route after delivery and the days before the invoice turns into cash. Put those parts back into the decision.

Stop delivering loads that cannot be billed cleanly · page 36

Delivery finishes the movement. It begins the final work needed to collect. A missing signature, an unreadable POD or a mismatch between the invoice and the rate confirmation can hold money that the business has already spent.
